Complete Beginners
Never trained before? You are exactly who the Kickstarter was built for.
Beginner-friendly MMA, BJJ, Wrestling and Striking classes — from your first ever session to fight night.
OMMA was founded in 2019 to bring real mixed martial arts coaching to Omagh. In 2025 we moved into a dedicated home at 11 James Street — a base for MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Striking, Kids MMA, Teen MMA and our beginner Kickstarter programme. You don't need experience, fitness or confidence to start. But if you want to compete, the pathway is right here.
Never trained before? You are exactly who the Kickstarter was built for.
Confidence, coordination, discipline and fitness in a safe environment.
A positive outlet for energy, confidence and real skill development.
Get fitter, learn real MMA skills and become part of a strong team.
A proven pathway from your very first class to fight night.
Most members don't start fit, confident or experienced. We teach people from the ground up.
With 40+ members we're still small enough that new members never get lost in the crowd.
Proper MMA: striking, grappling, wrestling, boxing, BJJ and cage-ready skill development.
We've produced Irish champions, multi-promotion champions, amateur and professional fighters.
Team — Loyalty — Honour — Respect. A team you belong to, not just a place you exercise.
From the Kickstarter to full classes to the competition team — you always know your next step.
A structured 6-week beginner course for people who've never trained MMA. Beginner-only — you're never thrown into advanced classes on day one. After Kickstarter you move into full OMMA classes with confidence.
Striking, wrestling, BJJ, boxing and MMA-specific training. Get fitter, learn self-defence and progress toward sparring or competition. Beginners usually start with the Kickstarter first.
Start Now!Confidence, discipline, coordination, fitness, respect and anti-bullying confidence in a safe, structured environment. Not about turning kids into fighters — about helping them grow.
A positive place to train, build confidence, get fit and learn real martial arts. Train recreationally, or progress toward the competition pathway with the right attitude and consistency.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling for control, takedowns and ground skill — the backbone of modern MMA, coached for gi and no-gi.
Start Now!Boxing, kickboxing and striking for MMA — footwork, hands, kicks and combinations built for the cage and for fitness.
Start Now!From first class to fight night. A clear pathway to amateur MMA — technique, wrestling, striking, fight IQ, conditioning and mindset. Not everyone fights, but the path is there.
